| Alan
Wardley
is Chief Instructor of the Snow Mountain Tai Chi Chuan Group. He
has been practising Tai Chi Chuan for over 18 years and has been
teaching Tai Chi for about 11 years.
The style of Tai Chi Alan practises is Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.
Yang
Style Tai Chi
is the most popular form of Tai Chi practised in the world today.
The founder of Yang Style Tai Chi was Yang Lu-Ch'an back in the
early nineteenth century. Transmitted down through his sons and
their sons, the current form of Yang Style Tai Chi was defined and
regulated by one of Yang Lu Ch'an's grandsons, Yang Ch'eng Fu, and
is renowned for its excellent health
benefits.
None
of us, it seems, can escape the stresses
and strains of everyday life OR CAN WE? Tai chi
Chuan (Taijiquan) is the slow moving exercise that you can witness
every morning in the parks of Beijing. The slow and graceful movements
compliment the morning skyline as the practitioners of this fascinating
art go through their daily routine, oblivious to the hustle and
bustle of the morning rush hour around them.
You
can now witness and experience Tai Chi
a lot closer to home. Alan has given up the security of a full time
job and is now devoting his time to teaching Tai Chi to all who
seriously would like to improve their lifestyle. Local businesses
(Essex/London) whose employees may work under pressure can get in
touch with Alan for lunchtime classes.
Hospitals and doctors can also get in contact, as this exercise
would compliment people who are having physiotherapy, or anyone
who would just like to enhance their well being.
