After a lovely leisurely breakfast it was into the main conference meeting area to begin the Tai Chi practice.
Alan started by giving a rundown of what would be covered during the weekend.
The morning started with a warm up followed by 8 Trigram Chi Kung – which was a new exercise to the group.
The morning coffee break was followed by another Chi Kung, which had been studied by the group before, called Chi Permeating.
Then the full Yang style Tai Chi Chuan form was performed, followed by the 1st root repeated two more times.
At 1pm the session stopped for lunch and the afternoon session was restarted at 2.30pm.
Alan then went through the “opening and closing” up to the 1st cross hands followed by the “Yin Yang” also to the first cross hands. Then we performed the full Tai Chi form again.
